We will hike along the Hudson River on the Appalachian Trail on PAVED walkways. Highlights include a zoo, a pool (optional), nature museums and the Bear Mountain Bridge.

There will be an optional, advanced, rugged hike to the ruins of a historic fort across a suspension bridge.

Arrive early to grab picnic tables.

Travel time will vary. One hour from Essex County, NJ
